The Challah Project

"Aint no challah back, girl!" I shouted Friday night. My bubby, mother, and I were discussing our newest project, a book of challah stories and recipes, and I was vying for a modern title. I think I'm losing that battle, but the project is happening.

The three of us are writing a challah book!

So, Bubby, Eema, and I are collecting recipes, stories, and tips. This website will be one place where we put news about the project and some of our favorite ideas.

(Challah is a special kind of Jewish egg bread, originating in Eastern Europe. Try making it! You might like it.)
